Arabic is a language taught in most schools in the Gulf as well as being taught as a GCSE and A-level in the British curriculum. It involves dissecting arabic literature and grammar to enable students to engage with arabic texts and speak in standard arabic (Albeit slightly different from some arabic dialects!). Many students fear the grammar part as it has proven notoriously difficult, but it is one of the most comprehensive languages in terms of expressivity.
