Anatomy is a course taken by students from various majors such as biology, biomedical sciences and medicine. It can be taken as a standalone course or as a part of another course. It is most intensively studied by medical students as it is integral to many if not most courses. Anatomy can be studied at the macro or micro(histology) level. Other useful websites for anatomy: Ken hub: Ken hub contains many useful study guides as well as videos on anatomy as well as imaging techniques Earths lab: Contains very detailed guides on individual components like nerves and muscles if you are interested! Complete anatomy: this is a great app which allows you to visualise structures. I would even argue it could be a replacement for anatomy labs! Anatomy books The link at the top of the page contains a selection of textbooks and flashcards which you will find helpful during your study. Most notably, Grey's anatomy and Netter's anatomy are textbooks which are commonly known and widely used by students.
Videos for anatomy There are many useful video channels on youtube for anatomy! Anatomy zone is one of the best and most comprehensive ones and it is liked at the top! Other useful youtube channels and videos The noted anatomist: Brief and succinct videos on imaging and anatomy Lecturio: there are some free anatomy videos from lecturio on youtube but you have to buy a subscription for full access. Their videos on surface anatomy are great. Ken hub: there are some free videos on youtube from Ken hub but for full access, you have to pay! Sam Webster: if you want to learn anatomy with a bit of British humour, head to Sam Webster's channel!
UMichigan's anatomy question bank is the best and most comptehensive question bank out there and this is linked at the top of the page! The question files also have explanations for the chosen answer. In addition, they have great questions and guides for radiology and gross anatomy. Other question banks Teach me anatomy: in addition to good notes, teach me anatomy has multiple choice questions on each topic. They are limited for people who don't have a subscription, but it is worthwhile to purchase! Anatomy guy: there are questions using cadaveric prosections in this website.
